Dear Colleagues,
Very recently, the CEO has informed your leadership teams about the need to implement a day-off purchase scheme.
As part of this initiative, a structured leave arrangement has been put in place, whereby everyone will avail of 12 days of leave without compensation (System Leave type: Days Off PP) during the year. This approach has been carefully considered to help manage current challenges while avoiding more severe measures.
Key guidelines are outlined below:
- Step 1 – Employees are kindly requested to review, accept, and acknowledge the undertaking via the shared link on or before 30th April 2026. Undertaking Acknowledgment – New Form
- Step 2 – Agree the leave schedule with your Manager, this process will be supported by the HR Business Partner and the Leadership teams in your business. The minimum of 12 days leave should be utilized between 1st April 2026 and 31st December 2026. The leave may be taken in one stretch or spread across multiple periods until year end, based on business requirements and in consultation with your Line Manager.(Managers will be expected to be flexible with the employees who want to consume the days in a different way or who also wish to take additional days.
- Step 3 – Book the leave in the normal way in SAP SuccessFactors on or before 31st May 2026.The leave should be applied under the leave type “Days Off PP” in the system, and will not have any impact on the ESB calculation.
We understand, at the scheduling level there will be complexities to manage within each business unit and various specific departments; therefore, your leadership teams will require you to be understanding and flexible with a view to aligning your requested days with operational needs. The firm expectation for leaders is implement the scheme while, optimizing bandwidth and minimizing business disruption.
These measures will be in place until December 2026. For any clarifications or support, please feel free to reach out to your leadership teams, who have been fully briefed and/or the HR department.
Yours sincerely
HR Department
