Biometric Time & Attendance – Now Including Non-Rostered Staff

Dear Colleagues

Following on from the previous mail regarding the time and attendance activities currently underway, everyone is now registered or scheduled to be registered through the Biometric system to allow for clocking in and out of work, from Sunday, 29th September onwards.

Adhering to our scheduled hours is essential for maximizing efficiency and therefore our collective success. This is especially relevant during challenging market conditions whereby maximizing our collective collaboration will provide us with an edge.

To this extent, all staff are now required to log their Start and Finish times of their workday using the fingerprint biometric machines located at the entrances of all NBK locations. This system will help us maintain accurate records and promote accountability.  A standard variation report will be periodically reviewed by HR and shared with the relevant managers.

We are a dynamic business and there will understandably be some exceptions. However, deviations from your approved work hours (“Deviation”) must receive prior written approval from the senior line manager (i.e. grade S3 or above) in your department. An electronic form is available for Management to capture these requests and approvals from the HR Department at hr@nbks.com. Managers in grades S3 and above will seek the approval from at least one grade above. In the event no authorized line manager is available, you can send your requests to the Group HR and Administration Director for approval.

It is understood that certain roles require the employees to consistently operate on a multi-site, off premise basis and role deliverables require the employee to work non-typical hours.  These roles will be defined by HR in collaboration with the relevant managers and addressed accordingly.

For the avoidance of doubt, any Deviation must receive the necessary approval and will be considered as a short-term measure and should be based on urgent family matters, serious health concerns, or urgent business requirements.

If you have any technical concerns regarding this new process, please direct them to our IT Team at the IT Help Desk via the attached link: Home – Nasser Bin Khaled IT (manageengine.com). For any other questions or concerns, either Azlan (mazlan@nbks.com) or Arjun (areghudas@nbks.com) are available.

Thank you for your attention to these important matters and for your continued dedication to our team.

Kind regards

On Behalf of Hani Abdo, CEO.
