Job Summary

Supervise the spare parts logistics (inventory + warehouse) in the provision of a fast and efficient parts storage and delivery service to retail sales points & workshop.

Assures proper control of the parts inventory, warehouse management, negotiation with suppliers and related administrative functions.

Job Description…

  • Maintain healthy stocks based on units in operation.
  • Maintain safety stocks based on lead time and movement of spare parts.
  • Prepare monthly stock orders following SOP & guidelines from suppliers.
  • Take necessary approval as per company policy.
  • Create new part numbers, location in stores & in / out process for all parts required.
  • Daily / weekly update to all stakeholders for upcoming shipments / orders being placed.
  • Coordinate with logistics / clearing agent for smooth clearance of goods with all necessary documentation as per Qatar customs & Hamad port.
  • Make appropriate arrangements for parts scrapping based on ageing & company guidelines.
  • Coordinate with procurement & stores for short shipment / damage claims from suppliers / agents.
  • Ensure exact receiving of parts and posting MIRO / MIGO in SAP.
  • Notifies management of overage, shortages and damages in shipments received.
  • Performs perpetual inventories.
  • Ensure annual audit being placed in time with zero stock difference & prepare variance report annually.
  • Maintains and ensures departmental safety and security.
  • Files all necessary documents during import and stock process.
  • Implementation of 5S & 7 storage techniques at stores and respective areas.
  • Maintains professional appearance & carries out any temporary assignments your manager requires from you.
  • Assist Parts Manager for ongoing tasks, negotiation, Pricing, and necessary approval from management.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree of related field/ Supply chain is a plus.
  • Min of 10  years experience in Logistics ( ordering, inventory & warehouse management)
  • Automotive  experience is a must, construction machinery experience is a plus.
  • Must have  hands on  experience with Microsoft office suite & SAP
  • Fluent in English/Arabic is a plus.
  • High organising skills with attention to details.
