Job Summary
Processing, management and controlling all trade finance requirements (i.e. letters of credit (inward and outward), bank guarantees, tender/performance bond etc.) of NBK Group companies. Monitoring and providing a monthly report in relation to all documentary credit balances, utilizations and available limits, etc.
Job Responsibilities
- Able to handle bank facilities both conventional and Islamic facilities which mainly include letter. of credit, letter of guarantee, non-LC refinance, Murabaha, as well as maintain the schedule for the repayments.
- Preparing letter of credit and guarantee documents and coordinating with group companies and suppliers, if required for timely issuance of LC/guarantee.
- Analysing and performing appropriate hedging (forward cover)
- Coordinating with bank for Forex requirement and arranging the same in an advance.
- Coordinating with bank for time processing of daily routine transactions like cheque clearance, letter of credit or letter of guaranteed issuance.
- Coordinating with bank for POS, credit card and payment gateway integration and issue related to them.
- Cash and liquidity management through cash flow planning and forecasting.
- Reviewing funding needs and managing bank balances based on working capital requirement.
- Monthly reporting of all treasury activities to the Management.
- Managing banks relationships and minimising interest and other charges.
- Coordinating with bank for time renewal of facility and arranging documents as required by bank for facility renewal.
- Issue debit notes to group companies on required basis.
- Coordinating with bank and other departments of the company for opening of bank accounts or changing of authorized signatories as required.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree of related field, holder of CPA/CA certification , MBA is a plus.
- Min of 5 years experience in Treasury
- Hands on experience with Microsoft office suite & SAP
- Fluent in English/Arabic is a plus.
